[argyllcms] dispcal errors

Hi,

does anyone encounter problems with the serial bus using argyll's 
measurement tools?

I tried dispcal and printspot on several computers with varying success.

Often I get errors like following:

First dispcal sees the intrument, initialises and later fails.
The protocol selected is appropriate. Any hints?
