Hi, I just subscribed, as I am trying to get some basic profiles for a range of papers using an old HP Designjet 5500 large format printer. I have a Macbeth Colorchecker at hand (the 24 patches one used mainly by fotographers). I know that this is not perfect, but still I imagine that calibrating according to it may eliminate some problems with color matching. Is it possible to make Argyll use this target, e.g. if I know the values of the patches? I have those of the chart and those of the printout (both scanned by the same device), so a basic matching table for creating a profile should be possible, right? TIA&CU Lars.
