dear graeme
i've been doing some testing with argyllcms on creating an rgb (video or cmy)
output profiles.
i've noticed that the saturation table by default is same or at least very
similar to the perceptual
table and the results after conversion with e.g. photoshop are almost equal.
the relative colormetric
rendering intent shows very little difference as well. compared to other rgb
profiling software the
difference between these three rendering intents is almost not remarkable.
for this reason i've tried to make some modifications with the -t and -T tag in
order to override
the mapping intent for both tables but nothing changed. am i doing something
wrong?
e.g.:
profile -v -q m -b u -r 0.5 -t a -T al name
(-t a and -T al are specified for testing only to see if the mapping changes in
perceptual and saturation table)
how is it possible to override these tables with another one described in your
profile.html document?
thank you for your prompt reply!
best regards
joe
