I'm not sure about the error message, but what does dispcal -?
list ?

The Argyll code basically enumerates all USB ports, and locates
any devices it recognizes (The DTP94 being the only one in V0.6),
and these get listed before any serial ports as a -c selection.

The main trap on Linux, is getting the permissions right to
use the USB port. This usually means setting up the hotplug
or udev system properly. See the installation notes
<http://www.argyllcms.com/doc/Installing.html> for this,
if you haven't already done so.

What are the permissions for USB bus 2, device 5, and it's parent directory ?
Is is writable ?

[BTW, for all those reading, note that X-Rite is discontinuing the DTP94
from December :-( They are going to sell the Eye-One Display in its place.
If you're thinking of buying a DTP94, better get your orders in now. ]
