Great, I got it working. Thanks for the quick feedback!
Your right, the platform doesn't make any difference. Once I changed
the output type to display it worked fine.
I actually created the .ti3 by hand. I have an Xrite OPTIX and PULSE
which arn't supported by Argyll.... correct? Someone who *does* have
supported hardware sent me an example profile and .ti3 file which I
worked from. It was from a printer profile though, hence why it had
the wrong device type!

your display. This is set by the type of device chosen in
the .ti3 file. Normally this would be created by dispread
for a display, and it would be set appropriately. Where
did the .ti3 come from ?
