That's why there are options to create your own mix of test patches. The
measure used in any algorithm that takes notice of the perceptual spacing
of the test patches does so in a space that is a version of L*a*b* that
has been adjusted somewhat like Delta E CIE94, in emphasizing the neutral
axis.
