The first creates a (display) RGB test file. You should probably use -d2 with current releases. The second creates a CMYK test set with a total ink limit of 260%. So they are quite different. The first might be for the Epson RGB drivers. The second would be for a more direct driver of some sort (linux ?).
Also, I have an example of a profile provided by Epson for the printer and paper I am going to use. Is there some way to tell from looking at the profile how many samples I need to ask for in targen? Is it going to be the same as the number of entries in a LUT in the Epson profile?
If the profile is for the same driver, then you can feed it into targen as the -c parameter. Graeme Gill.
