See if the attached works for you.
Will the scanin program allow me have the card "tilted" in the scene?

It was really written for scanners, so will accommodate rotation, but
not perspective.
I normally shoot images in raw format with my camera. Will it be
possible to link the created qpcard profile to my normal camera
profile, and apply it at conversion time? Or have I misunderstood
something about profile linking?
Given the small number of test points, you're probably best starting
by creating a shaper/matrix profile, and seeing how that goes.
The profile will be one that converts the raw RGB values to
PCS (ie. XYZ or Lab), so the normal thing is to link it with
some other device profile, such as AdobeRGB, a monitor, or
printer. You can always simply use the RGB->PCS file on its
own with imdi/cctiff to convert RAW to Lab colorspace, and then
go from there.
It would be interesting to year how well or badly this works :-)
