Sorry, I can't suggest much. It appears to communicate,
but not well enough to work. This instrument struggles
under Linux for some reason (I have to use a hack to get
it to work at all due to USB data phase issues).

Something to do with the USB driver, cable or card ?


You're right.

There was an USB hub between the system and my spyder2.

Now it works fine.
