[argyllcms] Problemes accessing an Eye-One Display II

Hi,
I am trying to use the latest beta drop on a SuSE 10.2 box. I copied the udev entries to the right place. 
Syslog shows the device being found

But the commands do not seem to be able to use it:
# ./dispcal -yl  -r
The instrument can be removed from the screen.

Any ideas what to do?
lprof also just gives me an error....
