Hi,
I am trying to use the latest beta drop on a SuSE 10.2 box. I copied the
udev entries to the right place.
Syslog shows the device being found
Feb 18 07:51:05 cray kernel: usb 2-1: new low speed USB device using
uhci_hcd and address 2
Feb 18 07:51:05 cray kernel: usb 2-1: new device found, idVendor=0971,
idProduct=2003
Feb 18 07:51:05 cray kernel: usb 2-1: new device strings: Mfr=1,
Product=2, SerialNumber=0
Feb 18 07:51:05 cray kernel: usb 2-1: Product: Eye-One display
Feb 18 07:51:05 cray kernel: usb 2-1: Manufacturer: GretagMacbeth
Feb 18 07:51:05 cray kernel: usb 2-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
and I also see it in /sys/bus/usb/devices:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Feb 18 07:51 2-1 ->
../../../devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.1/usb2/2-1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Feb 18 07:51 2-1:1.0 ->
../../../devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.1/usb2/2-1/2-1:1.0
But the commands do not seem to be able to use it:
# ./dispcal -yl -r
The instrument can be removed from the screen.
dispcal: Error - dispread failed with 'Instrument Access Failed'
# strace ./dispcal -yl -r 2>&1 |egrep open
