I was under the impression that the content of the following page was
explicit enough for anyone to use with v4 profiiles.
That's what I've been using with success anyway.

Now, that is VERY different and TOTALLY unrelated with your "image-based"
gamut mapping.

Hi Roger, I'm not sure what you mean. Nothing about V4+PRMG restricts the
choice of source profile in a device link or CMM.

The intent is always saturation in my terms, since the nature of using an
intermediate gamut is that there is no way of knowing whether the source
gamut is smaller than the destination, and the V4 AtoB & BtoA gamut mapping
symmetry requirements force this.
