With dye inks you have to wait longer. If they ever get stable.Pigment inks become stable quite fast, at least on matte non-RC papers, it takes longer to evaporate the ink medium glycols etc from gloss RC papers. Despite that the HP Z models start measuring quite fast after the target is printed for all media I didn't find it necessary to let them dry longer or forced.
