I looked into my old HCFR files.........the best reading on a 100% white window
is around 40cd/m²  :-(
Since this is a 3 gun CRT projector I really cant point the meter towards the
PJ. The convergence of the three guns needs to be spot on (on the diffuser) in
order to get accurate readings. That means I will have to keep the diffuser on
the screen's plane.......not possible without actually moving the PJ back or
reconverging just for calibration.
Also I want to take the screen into account too........unless there is a way to
adjust for the screen within Argyll.
Thanks
Rajiv

Did you check the values the sensor returned? With projectors, you have to
be carefull to be in a realistic range, to avoid clipping or too low
levels, which both lead to strange results. Try to move the sensor
from/toward the screen (or the projector, depending how you are taking
measures, direct or reflected), to get white value arround 100cd/m², as
for standard monitors.

I think it is very difficult to get such value with a reflected measure;
that's why we put the sensor toward the projector, using the diffusor for
ambiant light measurement. This gives good results.

Hope this helps...
