[argyllcms] How far _should_ my monitor be off?

Hey people,
I've just gone through callibrating my monitor for the first time.
All seems to work, after going down some dead ends, and now I have a
working profile.
The thing I find strange is that I have almost no difference between
calibrated and uncalibrated on my monitor. dispwin -V tells me of
only 2.7% discrepancy between the profile and my uncalibrated monitor,
in fact.
Is this normal or have I done something wrong? My monitor is a
comparitively old hp9500 CRT, certainly nothing special. I would have
expected a bit more drift over the years.
Cheers
Peter.
