[argyllcms] Re: Geode processor

Right. You've got a screen depth of 5 bits/component, yet the LUTs have

should have 64 entries.

Is it possible to specify 64 entries with argyllcms?

Argyll has no control over the hardware, it has to use what is
reported. If you're theorizing that in 5 bit/component mode,
that 64 of the 256 entries get used, that sounds reasonable,
but _which_ 64 entries (Top, bottom, every 8th, which every 8th) ?
Is it really 16 bpp mode though, and one channel (green ??) is
actually 6 bits ? Is this consistent between display cards ?
Is it documented anywhere ?
[i.e. too many questions to actually write code, particularly since
anyone interested in color quality will want to run in a 24 bpp mode
 anyway.]
