Pascal,
You can always use ColorLab to convert the Reference Text file to a TIFF Lab
image. Then, open the image in Photoshop, massage all you want with curves
or what have you and then open up the image in ColorLab again and this time
convert it to Text. It's not nicely automated but may help.
I don't know how this process can be done in Argyll.
