What'd you expect from a geek? ;)

But this is not for a christmas tree - it's for "lamps" in the floor
that are there the whole year long. For normal lighting purposes they
should look exactly like the halogen spots, i.e. have the same color
temperature (-> the easiest way to achieve that is to use color
management...). And for special purposes they get colored (e.g. when
leaving the home and a window is open it goes red, if all windows are
closed it goes green => no need to look at a small display, you'll know
automatically the state :)
