I use 64-bit Fedora 10
I use the Binary nVidia drivers for my nVidia 250 card. It is a very
fast card!
I use argyllcms as obtained from the Fedora repositories.
The device is a Huey Pro: idVendor=0971, idProduct=2005
The following command failed:
colprof -v -D"T240HD" -qm -as T240HD_1
No of test patches = 1000
................
Find white & black points
Initial white point = 0.933861 0.982331 1.110932
Initial black point = 0.002639 0.002723 0.003678
Display Luminance = 173.868844
White point XYZ = 0.950658 1.000000 1.130914
Black point XYZ = 0.002686 0.002772 0.003744
Fixup matrix for white point
After white point adjust:
Matrix = 0.443479 0.380165 0.140556
0.223097 0.706894 0.070009
0.007155 0.100032 0.717713
Done gama/shaper and matrix creation
Profile done
colprof: Error - Write file: 2, icc_read_tag: Tag 'AToB0
Multidimentional Transform' not found
I noticed that XRandR 1.2 is listed as faulty:
[andy@andrew ~]$ dispcal -yl -R
XRandR 1.2 is faulty - falling back to older extensions
Place instrument on test window.
Uncalibrated response:
Black level = 0.37 cd/m2
White level = 221.61 cd/m2
Aprox. gamma = 2.20
Contrast ratio = 607:1
White chromaticity coordinates 0.3102, 0.3201
White Correlated Color Temperature = 6727K, DE to locus = 0.2
White Correlated Daylight Temperature = 6731K, DE to locus = 4.8
White Visual Color Temperature = 6735K, DE to locus = 0.2
White Visual Daylight Temperature = 6945K, DE to locus = 4.5
Effective LUT entry depth seems to be 8 bits
I did notice a "failed" message from dispcal
..................
Computing update to calibration curves...
Doing iteration 3 with 64 sample points and repeat threshold of 0.600000 DE
patch 64 of 64
Brightness error = 0.000000 cd/m2
White point error = 0.000000 deltaE
Maximum neutral error (@ 0.288996) = 0.865640 deltaE
Average neutral error = 0.413811 deltaE
Failed to meet target 0.600000 delta E, got worst case 0.437952
Number of measurements taken = 144
The instrument can be removed from the screen.
Written calibration file 'T240HD_1.cal'
Luminance XYZ = 0.000000 164.358421 0.000000
White point XYZ = 0.962366 1.000000 1.155552
Black point XYZ = 0.001357 0.001288 0.002315
Created fast shaper/matrix profile 'T240HD_1.icc'
I saved the output from all commands as well as the generated files if
that is useful.
Any ideas?
