Take a shot with custom white balance, Adobe RGB space, all camera settings per 
the look that you wish to emulate except sharpening set to zero. Process raw 
data, using the recorded white balance; demosic it to half mode with say gamma 
2 (you can use dcraw to do that if you wish). You will have RGB "scene data". 
Take jpeg and convert it from Adobe RGB to Lab. Now you have "target data". 
Profile between "scene" and "target" as usual.

Color lists can be extracted using argyll/scanin if the target is known to 
scanin (in this case, just make n RGB color list of the target, similar to the 
way you do it with a scene and convert target color list from AdobeRGB to 
Lab/XYZ with one of argyll utilities). You can use free ColorLab utility for an 
ordinary image. Or you can code something yourself.
