There's no file called "245bw". You probably meant "245bw.cal",
or "245bw.icm".
Anyway, I think it worked since my display darkened a bit at that point.
There are error messages if any of the calls failed, so by
default no errors = success, but (at your prompting :-),
I will add some more verbose messages indicating overall
success.
I did not quite understood the other options offered by dispwin. But one
thing I'd like to try is to use my i1 and have dispwin run through a series
of color and report the results against the cal file, to see whether the
calibration still hold?
You can certainly do that. You can do this manually (using dispwin -m,
and then using spotread, as by default dispwin -m runs the colors
throughout the currently loaded VideoLut), or you can do this automatically,
using dispcal.
Simply run dispcal (with the same target options) and -E:
dispcal -v -yl -E -w 0.3457,0.3585 -b90 -gl -H
(Note that if the initial calibration was modified due to
it being out of gamut of the display, the verify will
show the resulting discrepancy).
