Hmm. Setting -v2 doesn't change the code behavior, it just reports more information on what's going on. So any improvement is due to some other reason. One possibility is that the display may have been behaving more repeatedly at the time of this run. If you are compiling from source, you could try lowering the REFINE_GAIN factor defined in dispcal (ie. try 0.5), and see if this has any effect on your situation. Given that your runs seem to be varying a bit, this could be difficult to judge. Graeme Gill.
