I started compiling about 11 AM (CEST, +0200) - but the modification
date of your files is 4:07 PM (EST, +1000) :-)
I guess that's a problem caused by configure being too fussy, and
zip not recording GMT/storing GMT/restoring GMT. You seem
to have got my local time on the files when you unzipped them,
and of course Melbourne time is ahead of nearly everywhere
except New Zealand.
No -- I thought this is not necessary if I use makeall.ksh since it
invokes jam -f. Am I wrong?
You are right.
but icclink causes errors:
icclink: Error - Write file: 1, icmColorantTableVal_write: write of PCS
coord failed
OK, it turns out that the green in your LStar-RGB.icc isn't representable
in L*a*b* PCS, and a device link colorant table is mandated to be
in Lab. All I can do is clip such colors to the Lab PCS range.
Unfortunate, but it would need an ICC spec. change to fix it
any other way. Mind you, the green seems rather unusual:
Lab = 81.949532 -137.475350 81.910554
I've spent a couple of days cleaning up some of the warning from
compilers (I just hope I haven't broken anything in the process),
and adding a couple more features to the display calibration,
so I'll post an update shortly.
Graeme Gill.
