Hmmm, so the DTP92 can't be used? What about the DTP94? Is there anybody
here using it for projector calibration? Could someone make a test?
It's hard to say. The DTP92 is intended to be a colorimeter, and if
it were perfect, it wouldn't matter what the spectrum was, and in fact
it would do a better job than a typical 31 band spectrometer when
faced with a spiky spectrum. In practice it's filter curves will
not be exactly the CIE 2 degree observer, and hence it can
be optimized for maximum accuracy a particular spectrum.
The DTP was close to th screen (about 50cm), with an angle of 30° (to avoid
its own shadow).
Right, so it sounds like it should have given a half reasonable
result.
Well, we could try such optical adapter...
Better posting the calibration and profile data first.
