One possible way is, that you don't actually average them, but that you
simply form the union of the two measurement sets, and let "profile" do
the averaging (i.e. if you have two .ti3 files with 1000 measured
samples each, create a .ti3 containing all 2000 readings, and use this
combined .ti3 to build the profile). This does not take so much time,
even if it is done manually with a text editor; or alternatively, you
could write a simple perl script to do the job.
