Strange. We regulary use these compression modi. libtiff changed to a 
policy of enabling all compression modes including the more exotic 
deflate(32946), AdobeDeflate(8), pixar_log(32909) and log_luv(34676) 
ones, with LZW(5) being pretty standard.
This appears as the used libtiff would be quite a bit older?
