Hi, the log shows that the instrument is accessed OK, but then fails
at a latter stage. Unfortunately the diagnostics don't indicate what
triggered the failure. To get more info, the best way would be to
#define DEBUG in spectro/dispsup.c, re-compile, and run it again.
