My test also proof that argyll CMS is far too sensitive in dark areas. Argyll often produce too light results with dark saturated colors on a good paper. I do calibration in similar way to Alistair (scanner+IT8 target). I scanned IT8 and printed target same time in 12b/c raw mode.
