Thanks Derek: I try the following setup: targen -v -d 2 -G -f420 -g128 Mitsubishi-PG printtarg -v -h -i CM -t360 -p A4 Mitsubishi-PG chartread -v -H -B Mitsubishi-PG colprof -v -qh -S sRGB.icm -cmt -dpp Mitsubishi-PG>out.log The result for L=39 is attached here.As you can see, it is similar to (but not the same) as the one I attached last time.
BTW, my system is win7 32bits. Any suggestions are welcome. tmwu-----原始郵件----- From: Derek Wells

I'd suggest rereading the chart using a ruler or straight edge to guide the colormunki and ensure that it is passing over (and reading from) the centre of the patches, and moving the colormunki slowly while reading the chart. I hope this helps, and please let us know how you get on with this. I use the following setup: targen -v -d2 -G -f441 -g128 Mitsubishi-PG printtarg -v -ii1 -t360 -p A4 Mitsubishi-PG chartread -v -H -B Mitsubishi-PG colprof -v -qm -i D50 -S sRGB.icm -cmt -dpp Mitsubishi-PG I then use the gamut viewer of PM 5.05 to view the profile. In the 2D(ab) view, there are some "strange behavior" from L=25 to L=47. As you can see from the attached sample1.png (a snapshot of L=39), sample1 a portion of the boundary is not smooth. When L is higher than 48 or lower than 24, the boundary is smooth all over. I also try to targen -v -d2 -G -f2048 -g128 Mitsubishi-PG and the result is similar. Before I try argyllcms, I used colormunki's software to produce a profile, and the boundary is smooth. I am a complete novice to printer profiling. And I wonder if this is normal or not? Any suggestion is welcome. Tsong-Min Wu
