Aha! That's worth knowing!

I always exit Win with a shutdown. And I always switch off the power
outlet that feeds the comp, monitor and printer.

But when i power up again, the comp switrches on and then off, and I
have to press the power button.

Your method should avoid that, as well as allowing me to work in DOS
after exiting Win.
