Joe, your mail server (zet02 dot meters dot com dot au) seems to be
configured to send your messages encoded as base64. Probably,
depending on how smart the mailing list server is (what conversions
is it able to perform, etc.), you see this as:
(1) Plain text, as your last message to opendos at delorie dot com.
(2) Text attachment, as all your recent messages to
ArachneDevelopment at yahoogroups dot com.
(3) base64 data without their specification, as your both messages
to arachne at freelist dot org.
To be able to read such messages which passed through the freelist
server, one has to edit them manually and replace the line
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
with
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Hope this helps,
Michal
