[arachne] Re: nic card/cable modem connect problem

Trying to Arachne connected to dhcp cable modem. Nic is testing ok, Arachne states:
configuring using bootp/dhcp
Negotiates for about 15 seconds, then fails. While playing with settings probably in lantcp.cfg, could connect to arachne.cz at one time when clicking on upper right ikon. Nothing else on 'net connectable
Modem lights (external) are flashing Send infrequently, Receive frequent while configuring.

Domain name from isp is:  accesscomm.ca
Arachne is trying to connect but missing something.  Some ideas please?

You need to specify this:
Gateway 0.0.0.0
I don't now wich number needed.Try the nameserver.I am behind a router and there that works in that way.

AltGateway 0.0.0.0

You need to specify this:
Netmask 0.0.0.0 
in most cases 255.255.255.0
