Well, my DOS Internet sites probably would not qualify, since I did include
meta tags and such. However, IMO, you can't get much more "minimal browser"
than the OLD DosLynx 0.7 and using a simple text editor, NE, to write them.
The meta tags are useful, otherwise the only way simple pages would be found is
by "word of mouth", so to say, spread from other visitors. I wish them well,
but doubt that the idea will catch on, the idea of using gopher died
also...instead of HTML, maybe just plain text fetched with HTGET, then
displayed via text editor would suit some needs. However, those that would
use such technique have already done it for the most part.
Hate it or love it, we as users of the web have to deal with the extra "fluff".
