Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!
3a. Install my LSPPPCFG package (with LSPPP, of course, version
0.74, 1.00 or 1.01) then set your DNS addresses to "0.0.0.0" (don't
change the BOOTP option). Should take you about 20 seconds.
3b. Save your revised configuration A.
3c. Load your alternative configuration, repeat (3a), this time using
the "update" option. Should take you another 20 seconds.
3d. Save your revised configuration B.
Total time required ... about 1 minute (but why rush?;-).
Having done this, you can simply connect using configuration A,
then exist Arachne, switch to configuration B (or vice versa), restart
Arachne with the "-r" option, *without* having to hang-up and
reconnect. :-)
My old web site at hypermart is defunct, but hasn't been zapped yet,
so if you're quick, you can still get LSPPPCFG and LSPPP 1.01 from :
http://jds-freeware.hypermart.net/
