Hi Joe,
in the past I tried all versions from 0.6 to 1.0 and also stand-
alone without Arachne. There is at least one modem that is not
switched off when lsppp unloads. There is at least one IPS that
is not working well with lsppp, but epppd is o.k. On
several computers I discovered a problem with the last
versions of lsppp when used from arachne.cfg: lsppp loaded twice -
once at 0x60 and once at 0x61. I solved this problem by downgrading
to ver. 0.7. What I wanted to say is: it might not be a good idea to
distribute Arachne without a replacement. I would agree on making
lsppp the default.
Regards,
Christof
