Christof,

The version of LSPPP bundled with Arachne 1.73;GPL is *broken*
(LCP works on some ISP's but not others). Please try either version
1.0 from D.L.'s site, or version 1.01 from my site. While you are there,
download my LSPPPCFG package, this will convert Arachne from
EPPPD to LSPPP very easily (if it still doesn't work, it is just as
easy to revert back to EPPPD mode).
