[arachne] installing arachne for dsl

what is the procedure now for making arachne work on lan? i was able to make it 
work before (1.89) using 3com 3c509 isa card. now i have two 3c905 pci cards. i 
can load the packet driver but arachne can not detect it. i have a router on my 
dsl
