Yes. This list is for users and admirers of Arachne who wish to discuss
Arachne and topics related by the "rule of tangential clarification and
obfuscation", or as Udo so aptly refers to it, the "thread redirection
rule."

Some lists attempt to eschew obfuscation of threads, but here it flourishes
due to the inertia of subject headings and rampant embracing of creative
"leaps of logic". By the way did I ever mention......
So far every list I've been on who REALLY enforced the OT rule, quickly was reduced to nothing once the OT nazi's took over. Even on the lists where I was only listening!

Maybe I'm not normal, but I tend to view lists as clubs where you get together and talk about a general topic and get really useful info on that topic and fill in the gaps with a ton of BS about a lot of topic you no nothing about.

BTW, how did this thread about illegal
attachments get redirected to whether or
not I behave in a "normal" manner ??.
It is normal for discussions on this list to become quite off-topic.
This is known as an Illegal Attachment to the original thread. ;-)
