The ISPs know that most of their clients wouldn't understand if they did
explain exactly what they were doing and why.

Unfortunately many of the ISPs take that as justification for not
telling _ANY_ of their clients what they are doing and why.

Perhaps it is because the ones that wouldn't understand would object to
being sent a whole heap of "rubbish" that means nothing to them.

But it would be nice if the ISPs could at least give us a URL where we
could at least read the details of their protection.

Or would this be letting secrets out to the malware providers.....
