[arachne] Re: how much work will users do?

Today I tried Ray's distro the second time.First time I can't fiddle out how to
connect.And I was not willing reading lots of manuals about eppd,lsppp,ppp, etc.

Today it took me 2 hours to find the right config.
I am using LAN.I had to change the lantcp.cfg. Than everything works.This was
not documentend.I did not understand the concept of generic.cfg ,arachne.cfg.
Wich one is used for setup the connection in my Lan. Now I have all settings in
both files and in the lantcp.cfg too.
For me it was not userfriendly.
BUT
after this hard beginnig I now enjoy the speed of Ray's distro. fantastic
My testpage was a really painful page (www.t-online.de).Ray - great work.
Arachne renders this page so fast.....

I like the color of active frame too.
Show installed APM's did not work.
Where is documented that apm must be installed to DGI-dir otherwise they won't
be find?
I have to restart arachne after installing a apm.Otherwise the new mime.cfg etc.
will not be read. This is a little like Win98 ;-)

Some crashes while loading the hotkey-helpfile or option-pages.

I like the standard distros wizards really much.

This are only my first impressions.
Maybe I will write more detailed later.
