To me it seems like Ray is being stubborn and trying to insist on his
way of doings things just because it's his way of doing things. Glenn
has proposed an elegant solution that would make Ray's distro easy to
use and Ray resists for reasons that I don't understand. It seems like
he doesn't want people to use his distro unless they do it his way.
Silly, if you ask me.
I'm not inclined to go through the extra trouble to try Ray's version
unless somebody can tell me what advantage it might give me. I just
don't care how neat and tidy the sources are, that's just meaningless
to the user per se. What I want to know is will Ray's version be
more functional? If not, what's the point?
