Hmmm ... Cal, why is DTR being lost??? (It shouldn't be!)

Also, Mel :

1. How much free memory do you have before starting this stuff?
2. Immediately after you fail to connect, undelete the "ppp.log"
   file and see what clues this provides. Delete it again before
   trying again. Alternatively, enable the "show terminal window"
   option in Arachne to see what is going on as you try to connect.
