Just now got home from work and grabbed my email.

The packet said "crossover" and Yes, some of the colours are swapped
over.

The XP comp shows "cable unplugged" when the DOS comp is powered down
and "connected" when the DOS comp is running. IMO that indicates that
something is right ;-)

Next step?

As we see.... virtually no header info at-all.

There's not even a 'To:' line in the header.

There are no lines specifying through-which mail server(s) it passed.

However.... since the domain name of Greg's email address has
been 'Xed out' ... .that is a dead give-away that it almost certainly
passed through the email server at freelists.org and then was sent on
out to me and most likely _all_ list members.

However, as-of right now... there is only one copy of that message in
the freelists archive.
