That is not quite correct. Caldera split itself into Caldera Systems
and Caldera Thinclients, which later was renamed to Lineo. Caldera
Systems was developing OpenLinux whereas Caldera Thinclients/Lineo
continued to develop and sell DR-DOS for quite some time before they
switched to Embedix.
Lineo renamed DR-Webspyder to EmBrowser but continued to develop it
for some time, probably as long as they continued to develop DR-DOS,
perhaps even longer. Later versions of DR-Webspyder/EmBrowser were
not publicly available but only licenced to companies that also
licenced DR-DOS. The last version of DR-DOS that Lineo developed was
reportedly v7.06, so one can only assume that EmBrowser also saw some
development after Lineo had officially discontinued the development of
DR-DOS in favour of Embedix.
