You did have a connection established at one point

'hopefull blinking' of the lights on the wifi.
Although the blinking was hopeful for me, it was by no means
enthusiastic.
I'm thinking that the problem is most likely with DNS.
I do not think so, for two reasons:
- BOOTP/DHCP fails
- when I insert IP numbers to wattcp.cfg instead, I cannot
even ping to the name server of the local network.
Try those settings again.... but this time try contacting a remote page via
its IP address instead of its domain name.
I tried to open the web pages with different settings, again.
No connection.
Also... you mentioned in one of your previous posts that you don't know what
to use as GateWay.
What works for me is to use the IP address of my router as the GateWay. And
then to use the IP address of my DSL modem as the DNS
Yes, this seems to be correct here, too. At least there is no other
address on the 10.0.0.x network that I can ping to.
IP 10.0.0.2
DNS 10.0.0.138
GW 10.0.0.138
You can ping your router?! That's great! Surely this means there's a
setting or something that needs be changed before you're googling and
we're all installing dos on our laptops. Or, am I an utter moron?
