That's when I see problems with lost clusters, truncated files and FAT misreporting. It just happened again today. SCANDISK identified the following files as damaged: Arachne.pck, History.lst, Cache.idx, Pppdrc.cfg, and Ppp.log There were also 31 lost clusters. SCANDISK fixed all this for me and now Arachne is working just fine. This crash and recovery is routine for me. I rarely see any problem with the editor. But SCANDISK has never shown any file errors when I have had rare editor problems, just after Arachne startup crashes.
