If your are going from "reply" to an external editor you are still in
the internal editor... thus mixing the internal with the external
editor?

Editing files like xxxxxxxx.cnm or xxxxxxxx.tbs with an external editor,
within or without Arachne does not mix the editors up.
External editors usualy save the original files with a .bak or something
like that extension so starting again from scratch is not a problem.
