Very interesting -- I had never even looked into that file before.
When I did, sure enough, mine was like yours -- full of garbage
entries after a certain date but fine before that.  But the problem
isn't with my 'core'.  After some sleuthing I found that the problem
is with lsppp -- when I restored my espppd.exe connection the problem
vanished, even when using the 'core' I sent you.  

I'll bet Joe's resurrection of the on line timer under lsppp.exe
will probably fix the online.log problem too, but even if it doesn't
I'm sure Joe will be able to fix the problem one way or another.  I'll
fire up Joe's latest core and get back to you.
