Alejandro,
I've heard other's praise Pegasus, BUT...to me it seems a bit
"clunky" in that the actual email "gateway" is an additional
piece of software, SMTPOP, or FDSMTPOP. What I've been
trying to find is an application that DOESN'T require another
app to access the server. For the majority of my needs, I
can use MailWiz to create the WRK and TXT files, then pass
those to NetMail DOS 2.12 and I'm good to go. However,
there have been a few occassions in the past year and a half
when NetMail would get caught in a loop, much like Arachne
does, when fetching new emails with "malformed" headers.
PopMail PC works for these, as does NuPop and POPDUMP.
Thanks for your input on Pegasus though...I mention it on my
DOS Internet pages as well.
C U L8R!
