Hmm, looks to me like you need to read up on how to run DOS apps
from Windows 95 and later...create a BAT (batch) file to load all 
variables, as well as the executable for the program.  Next, use 
Windows Explorer, find your BAT file, and choose Properties 
when you "Right Click" on it with normal mouse settings.  In the
dialogues that follow, you can customize various settings for 
this "shortcut", once called a PIF (Program Information File)
including choosing an icon for your Start Menu or Desktop.
Once you have it fine tuned, add the PIF to your Start Menu
or copy it to the Desktop...now a simple double click on the
desktop, or choosing from the Menu will launch your app
with the various environment settings saved.
