I am testing Ray's core and just downloaded 41 emails without any reject
or interruption, a total download of 1.1MB.
Ray's core has a practical solution on malformed emails...

If you detect a 'bad email' (the downloading stops) press ESCAPE.
Now a menu pops up with choises to delete, skipp, etc. that message.
After that, the downloading continues and if you choose to delete the
message it is not lost but put at the end of the queie and downloaded as
the last message.

The messages are downloaded just one time since every message is forced
deleted at the provider right after downloading.

We are still searching for an 'automatic detection of bad emails'.
